We are seeking a Project Manager for a valued client in Mesa, AZ.  The best candidate for this position is a successful project delivery experienced professional, exceptional communication, and an organizational commitment to providing the best quality and safety in the industry - all hallmarks of our client.

Responsibilities
• Assist or create project submittals, schedules, proposals and other support documents
• Adhere to company’s safety programs, trainings, and policies, as well as promote and manage the Safety & Health performance of project team members and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Sr Project Manager, General Foreman, Foreman, Superintendents, subcontractors and other involved parties daily for project needs, communications, updates, etc
• Ensure that all project details are reviewed and tracked daily, weekly, as needed – delays, impacts, spend tracking, budgeting, forecasting
• Collaborate with PMs, field leadership for planning, tracking, work hours, scheduling of tasks
• Support Sr PMs, Operation Managers in retrieving data to process all change orders, including negotiating and assessing cost and schedule impact to overall project
• Assist with procuring materials, material take-offs, subcontractor coordination, inventory tracking
• Ensure that initial project budgets and all budget modifications are issued to internal stakeholders and production tracking is updated daily
• Ensure that all contract document revisions, correspondence sent to Sr PM, Operations Manager regularly and communicating any deviations from project plan
• Assist with developing each month’s application for payment and verify maximum company cash flow and accurate subcontractor percentages of completion; ensure that all applications for payments are accurate, complete and submitted on or before established dates.
• Review all payments to subcontractors and their lower tier subcontractors and vendors to in conformance with preliminary lien information and percent complete
• Manage all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, punch lists, deficiencies, and warranty work – store all documents within company cloud storage for project repositories
• Play an active role in business development, proposal submissions, interviews, presentations, client/consultant relationship management
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of construction, commercial/industrial electrical experience
• Demonstrated success in management of projects from $1-15 Million dollars, includes scheduling, invoicing, weekly, monthly milestone updates, critical path reviews, communications to Customer and other stakeholders
• Ability to work with Union tradesmen and women to review field data, ability to be Customer facing and provide clear communication
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Build business relationships, attend scope reviews, bid events and other scheduled meetings
• Work daily with Sr PM, Operations Managers or others to coordinate project needs
• Travel of 20% - 40%, or as needed based on awarded projects; majority of projects all within Arizona state, possible to travel in greater SW Region of US

Requirements
• Robust knowledge of electrical T&D, substation systems, with proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and construction drawings
• In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to manage complex projects and challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and all levels of employees/coworkers
• Strong ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Organizational skills necessary to prioritize and track multiple projects
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including use of Excel
• Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera

Location: In person (Mesa, AZ)

Estimated salary $80,000 - $115,000 (DOE)
