Commercial HVAC Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in Commercial HVAC and a hands-on approach to managing HVAC projects. This role requires proficiency in computer applications and has a great team player mentality.

Duties

• Collaborate with technicians and clients for product application requests
• Support sales team during service and construction work meetings
• Conduct job walks as necessary
• Review sales proposals for accuracy in material and labor hours
• Generate service proposals, work orders, and change orders
• Maintain service contract schedule and calendar for timely execution and renewals
• Propose new service, test, and inspection contracts
• Grow service contracts by meeting with clients, build relationships and present service plans
• Review all estimates for technical compliance and cost accuracy
• Meet with owners, engineers, and clients regarding product application support
• Ensure compliance of submittal documents with project requirements
• Review service performance with clients
• Interface with manufacturers to address delivery and warranty issues
• Coordinate with order entry for material procurement per project schedules
• Collaborate with accounting for timely and accurate billing
• Report technician hours bi-weekly to accounting
• Schedule technicians for site visits
• Manage master schedule for product start-up and service call appointments
• Review and approve technicians’ expense reports
• Track technicians’ vacation and sick time
• Maintain tools and inventory; ensure calibration of test instruments
• Monitor inventory levels with accounting to ensure stock of common replacement parts

Requirements

• Proven experience in Commercial HVAC
• Prior service management experience
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong team player mentality
