We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, detail-oriented Credit and Collections Representative to join our client in Flagstaff, AZ.

In this role, you will work with a small team responsible for the credit and collection functions for the division.

The ideal candidate will:
• Be passionate about providing collection support
• Be energized by collaborating on cross-functional teams
• Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships

Responsibilities include:
• Sustaining telephone and e-mail contact (90%) with U.S. based accounts, in order to collect past-due monies using aging reports and computer systems
• Maintaining detailed account contact information as well as daily contact documentation
• Making credit decisions (regarding shipment of orders) based on account status
• Formulating collection decisions for difficult accounts using excellent business judgement and negotiation skills
• Interacting with functional teams such as Sales Leadership, Field Sales Associates, Customer Service, Accounting, Provider Selling Organization, and other divisional associates as required
• Collecting, maintaining, and analyzing relevant metrics
• Performing research, follow-ups, daily processing of credit cards, determining credit limits, and other activities within the credit and collection team
• Providing extensive customer service to both internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner

Required Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years collections related accounting experience
• Ability to work successfully in a multidisciplinary team environment, gaining consensus when appropriate
• Ability to work independently, be proactive and follow through on pending tasks and deadlines
• Demonstrated teamwork skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening)
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities with a positive attitude
• Self-motivation, hands-on approach, attention to detail, dependability, and good judgment
• Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-through skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

Preferred Job Qualifications
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, ERP system, Microsoft Excel and Word.

Location: Flagstaff, AZ - in person

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Pay rate: $21.00
