Medical Device Assembler:
Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate production equipment
- Assemble materials using written instructions (Standard Operating procedures)
- Visually inspect, ensure, and assemble parts in process to quality specifications
- Ability to perform hand intensive and repetitive assembly of product(s) (Pinching, gripping, holding)
- Accurately enter Data into tracking system
- Work as a team member in a manner that fosters a positive environment
- Consistent and predictable attendance and punctuality
- Partner with other functions to continuously assess and improve processes
- Ability to work in a controlled/clean-room manufacturing environment including but not limited to: wear required clean room garments, set up equipment, light to moderate lifting, standing or sitting for long periods of time, move from one manufacturing team or facility to another and perform hand assembly/visual inspection utilizing measuring equipment.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated 2 years of consistent work experience (Full-time 36-40 hours a week)
- 1 year of solid work history with the same company
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills
- Perform data collection/computer entry and basic math
- Demonstrated good verbal and written skills
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, be flexible and open to change
- Must pass Drug screen, National Criminal Background, Manual Dexterity Test and a Visual Acuity assessment test including 20/20 vision, Binocular (Depth Perception), and Color with or without corrective vision.
1st Shift – Monday – Thursday 4am-2:30pm
2nd Shift – Monday -Thursday 3pm to 1:30am
4th Shift – Friday – Sunday 6am to 6:30pm
1st shift is $19 an hour, $20 an hour for 2nd shift and $21 an hour 4th shifts with first week of training at $19 an hour.
